Level Two Obedience



We build on things we have learned in level one plus….

Sit stays and Down Stays while you leave the room

Door Crashers and Nose Boppers Exercises blended into class each week (SEE BELOW FOR DISCRIPTION!)

Hand Signals at a distance for sit and down at a distance

RECALLS. We will really be testing and proofing their recalls in this level ( away from food/other dogs/toys etc) They are to come when called…no matter what!!

Does Your Dog get over-excited when someone (you or a guest) comes through your front door???

Can you only open the door a crack when you are having something delivered to the door or checking for mail because if you open it all the way your dog will blast out the door and take a tour around the neighborhood?

Does it take your dog 20 minutes to stop barking and calm down when guests arrive??

Does Your dog get so excited to see you/guests that they pee out of excitement?

 Depending on the time of year, this class will also go on a couple trips. One will be outdoors to work our on-leash heeling in a real-life environment and the other will be to the park to practice recalls in a safe environment.
