Metro Muttz is owned and operated by Melissa Vig.  Melissa started "in dogs" when she got her first dog, a Sheltie named Kelsey, at the age of tweleve.  Since then she has gone on to perfect her skills and made this her career choice.   Melissa is also heavily involved in several dog sports with her own dogs such as Flyball, Agility, Dock Dogs, Disc Dogs and Obedience.  Melissa has competed at the International level in Agility taking her Jack Russell Terrier 'Brooklyn' to Spain to represent Canada at the World Agility Championships.  Melissa's dogs have also appeared in several commercials, print adds and done film work for Nickelodeon at Universal Studios.  Melissa's goal is to use her own experience and knowledge to help owners aquire a better bond, and therefore a better working relationship, with their own dog.
